Terms of Service
1. Acceptance of terms
By creating an account or using the BSTraining platform (“the Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
These terms apply to all users, including learners, instructors, and visitors to bstraining.uk.
2. About BSTraining
BSTraining International provides an online training platform offering courses, assessments, assignments, and digital certificates in areas including communication, leadership, personal development, and digital skills. Courses may be self-paced or instructor-led.
We reserve the right to add, modify, or remove courses and features at any time. We will give reasonable notice where a change materially affects an enrolment you have already paid for.
3. Your account
Registration
You must provide accurate, complete, and current information when registering. You are responsible for keeping your account details up to date.
Account security
You must keep your password confidential. Do not share your account with anyone else. Each registration is for a single named individual. If you suspect unauthorised access, notify us immediately at [email protected].
Age requirement
You must be at least 16 years old to create an account. If you are under 18, you confirm that you have obtained parental or guardian consent.
4. Intellectual property
All course content, materials, videos, assessments, and certificates produced by BSTraining are owned by BSTraining International or our licensors and are protected by copyright.
Your enrolment grants you a personal, non-transferable licence to access and view course materials for your own learning. You must not:
- reproduce, redistribute, or resell any course content;
- record or screenshot course videos without our written permission;
- use our content to train AI models or build competing products.
You retain ownership of any original work you submit (assignments, discussion posts). By submitting it, you grant BSTraining a limited licence to use it for the purpose of marking and feedback.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- upload or share content that is illegal, harmful, or offensive;
- impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity;
- attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the platform or another user’s account;
- introduce malware, spam, or any code that could harm the platform or its users;
- use automated tools to scrape, copy, or harvest content without our written permission.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these rules, without notice in serious cases.
6. Payments and refunds
Course prices are shown at the time of enrolment. Once you have accessed a paid course, refunds are not available unless required by applicable consumer protection law.
For subscription plans, you may cancel at any time. Your access continues until the end of the billing period already paid for.
7. Certificates
Certificates are issued on successful completion of a course or assessment. BSTraining certificates confirm completion of our training programme. They are not a regulated qualification unless we have stated otherwise on the course page.
You must not alter or misrepresent any certificate we issue. We reserve the right to revoke a certificate if we determine it was obtained dishonestly.
8. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, BSTraining is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from your use of the Service, including loss of earnings, loss of data, or failure to obtain employment or a qualification.
Our total liability to you for any direct loss arising from a breach of these terms is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose.
Nothing in these terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under English law.
9. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you by email or via a platform notice at least 14 days before material changes take effect. Continued use of the Service after that date constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
11. Contact
